Emmett Joseph Kennedy is a blogger, lyricist, poet and artist from Berkeley, California. Emmett began their writing journey at a young age, authoring short stories for friends and family. Their first book written was four pages of notebook paper glued together with craft glue. As Emmett grew older, they branched off into the world of poetry. In 2016, joining multimedia library website Commaful under the retired pen name Angelic, Emmett quickly gained traction. Enticing readers with raw emotion, vivid metaphors and wordplay. Emmett gained notoriety on Commaful and was given the title Commabassador in 2017. The decision to leave Commaful in 2021, after 6 years of posting nearly monthly, came after Emmett decided to write and publish their debut poetry collection Honeydew and Violet. Emmett launched their writing career in 2022, with many bumps along the way. In 2023, Emmett looks to continue writing every day.

Amassing over 1k followers as a Commabasador for multimedia library website Commaful,  Emmett gained traction for their frequent publications and engaging word play in their poetry.
